Fibers

Ellen offers roving for spinning and batting for felting and other fiber arts, all sourced from the farm’s own flock of sheep. Primarily Romney, but also Border Leicester, Wensleydale, Corriedale, and Gotland breeds contribute to these rich fibers, each known for its unique texture and quality. The wool is carefully processed on-site, preserving the natural integrity of each fiber for artists who value authenticity and sustainability in their work.

Yarn

After being cleaned and carded on site, the fleece is sent to a local mill for spinning before returning to the farm for a final touch of artistry. Ellen hand-dyes each batch using natural ingredients like onion skins, madder, indigo, and goldenrod, creating yarns that reflect the beauty of the farm’s surroundings. Each batch of yarn is a unique blend, ready to become a part of your next project.

Felting

Using the farm’s own wool, Ellen creates beautiful, felted ornaments, bags, and other unique pieces, each crafted with care. She also offers wet felted sheets for crafters to use in their own projects, as well as vibrant felting pallets made from wool dyed by hand with at the farm with natural materials.

Baskets

Ellen also weaves beautiful baskets, using traditional materials to create functional, artful pieces. Her baskets showcase classic patterns and designs, with many inspired by traditional basket styles.
